Privacy Policy

Recap Studio ("we") operates a platform that turns authorized video files into Burmese-language recap videos. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Data we collect

Account data (name, email, password hash), project metadata (titles, status, job history), uploaded source files and derived artifacts (scripts, audio, renders), usage and credit transaction records, and audit logs of rights attestations.

How we use it

To operate the processing pipeline, enforce tenant isolation and ownership checks, meter credits, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations such as copyright claims. We do not sell personal data.

Third-party processors

Narration is synthesized via ElevenLabs; music is licensed via Epidemic Sound; script generation uses LLM providers. Source media and scripts are transmitted to these processors only as needed to perform the service.

Retention & deletion

Source files and renders are retained while your project is active. You may delete a project, which schedules its assets for removal. Audit logs and rights attestations are retained as required for copyright compliance.

Your rights

You can export or delete your account data by contacting support. Deletion removes personal identifiers while preserving anonymized, legally-required audit records.
